Komodo Island
Komodo (Indonesian: Pulau Komodo) is one of the 17,508 islands that comprise the Republic of Indonesia. The island is particularly notable as the habitat of the Komodo dragon, the largest lizard on Earth, which is named after the island. Komodo Island has a surface area of 390 square kilometres and a human population of over two thousand.
Komodo Island is an island located in the Nusa Tenggara Islands . Komodo Island is known as a habitat for native Komodo dragons . This island is also the Komodo National Park area which is managed by the Central Government. Komodo Island is located east of Sumbawa Island, separated by the Sape Strait.
On Komodo Island, Komodo dragons live and breed well. Until August 2009, on this island there were around 1300 dragons. Coupled with other islands, such as Rinca and Gili Motang , their total number is around 2500. There are also about 100 Komodo dragons in the Wae Wuul Nature Reserve on the mainland of Flores Island but do not belong to the Komodo National Park.
On the island, tourists can freely see and observe the daily patterns of the Komodo dragon. There is the right place to see a flock of dragons. Tourists can climb a hill, namely Bukit Ara (538 masl). At the top of the mountain, many flocks of dragons live wild. Besides dragons, other animals that we can see, namely wild deer, bulls and wild horses. Is that all? Certainly not.

The beauty of the beach
After trekking enough to drain the energy to see the dragons of course the choice to stop by to swim to Pink Beach becomes a very attractive offer.
Pink Beach is still in the Komodo Island area but because it is on a different side from the entrance of the National Park so it takes approximately 20-30 minutes by boat. The length of the Pink Beach shore is quite short because it is located in a bay flanked by giant coral mountains.

Underwater Biota
Third, Komodo National Park turns out to save another beauty, namely the charming underwater beauty. You can dive and enjoy the beauty of hundreds of species of coral reefs, seaweed, dozens of kinds of sponges, green turtles, thousands of species of fish including sharks, stingrays, whales, to dolphins.
Speak with anyone about diving in Indonesia and you’ll see their eyes light up as they reminisce about interacting with the majestic Manta Ray of the Komodo Islands. This island is not far from Padar Island which has been written and reviewed in another article. The Komodo National Park offers sanctuary to more of these beautiful creatures than most other places in the world and is truly unmissable for the intrepid traveller.

The Tiu Teja Twin Waterfall
The Tiu Teja twin waterfall is administratively included in the Santong Village area, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. The waterfall with a height of about 40 meters hidden in the pristine and beautiful forest of Mount Rinjani, according to tourists who have visited, the panorama of its beauty is amazing. Wallacea Line transition zone
Fourth, it is located in the Wallacea line transition zone, making this area very beautiful. This region was formed from the confluence of two continents, namely Asia and Australia, which then formed a unique series of islands with volcanoes.
Therefore, this island is filled with birds and animals from these two continents. There are so many types of flora and fauna that live in the Komodo National Park. Here there are 254 species of flora originating from Asia and Australia, 128 species of birds, and 58 other types of fauna.

Meadows and Sabana Forests
Fifth, tourists want to feel the sensation of being in the middle of the savannah and jungle? Here the place is, this savannah grassland reaches 70% of the total area of the national park. Various types of grass flourish there.
This island is usually a favorite place for tourists because of the beauty of green and exotic grasslands, in addition to Pink Beach and Komodo Island. During the dry season, the hilly area becomes a brownish color.
